Today is a Good Day for America

YES! I concur wholeheartedly with the sentiments expressed by Rep. Tom Tancredo, (R) of Colorado on Friday. "Today is a good day for America. The Senate - in a rare moment of clarity - rejected its amnesty-now, enforcement-later approach to immigration,” said Tancredo.

And thank God that they did. I was talking to a long time friend just last night about how disgusted I was with the antics in the Senate this past. It was only a few weeks ago that I praised Senator Bill Frist (R) of Tennessee. Yet, this week he abandoned his own principles and his own legislative effort to climb on board with the Democrats and pursue this insane "amnesty" method of dealing with our illegal immigration problem.

As I've stated before, sending back more than 12 million illegal immigrants is simply not going to happen. However, you can't introduce anything like the amnesty options being presented without FIRST introducing some sort of STRICT ENFORCEMENT policy that can actually be implemented and that will stem the massive invasion of our borders.

The American people won a battle today, but the war is yet to be fought. Speak up, write your Congressman, your Senators and let your voice be heard. The ONLY thing that is going to keep their feet to the fire and FORCE them to do the right thing is if we all let them know how strongly we feel about this issue.

Speak up! We can't afford to sit on the sidelines any longer. The time has come to get into the game.
